Aug 22, 2025
Basket of produce

CSA season is in full swing, and if you’re anything like us, week twelve has your fridge bursting with gorgeous produce — and maybe just a little inspiration fatigue. 😅 Whether you’re staring at a pile of peaches, a mountain of tomatoes, or yet another overflowing bag of greens, we’ve got you covered.

This collection is all about celebrating late-summer abundance with recipes that highlight the season’s best flavors while keeping things simple, vibrant, and delicious. From refreshing starters to cozy mains and irresistible desserts, these dishes are designed to help you fall back in love with your CSA box.

You’ll find recipes like chilled Cantaloupe Gazpacho, Peach & Cucumber Salad with Burrata, crispy Corn Ribs, comforting Tomato Cobbler, and so much more — all using peak-season produce to inspire your weeknight dinners, weekend gatherings, and everything in between.

Let’s turn that produce overload into something unforgettable. ✹

Cantaloupe Gazpacho

Whether you're team cantaloupe, watermelon or the classic tomato, swap out your favorite summer fruit for an insanely simple, fast and refreshing treat. Serve it up with a chunk of your favorite crusty bread, as a side to a sandwich or salad or a drool-worthy first course.

Peach & Cucumber Salad with Burrata

With only 4 ingredients and zero cook time, this has been a staple in our summer repertoire. It requires just a little peeling and chopping but is done in minutes and is so light and fresh, you'll be reaching for it again and again. Try it as a light and fresh first course, or make a big batch and serve on a platter for your next summer gathering.

Brassica Slaw

The perfect side to burger night or hot dogs. This recipe is a simple upgrade and tweak to the classic cabbage slaw that will wow anyone who tries it.

Moroccan Carrots & Beets with Yogurt

Sweet summer carrots & beets get a flavor packed upgrade with punchy Moroccan spices and and a dollop of cooling, creamy yogurt. Serve it next to some grilled chicken for an easy meal packed with flavor.

Corn Ribs with Chili Lime Mayo & Queso Fresco

Quite possibly one of my favorite recipes of all time, these corn ribs were a summer staple on the restaurant menu every summer and we sold mountains of these corn ribs. Its the perfect way to celebrate the short window we have of fresh sweet corn and its endlessly delicious.

Tomato Cobbler

This hearty, comforting dish is easy to put together and so satisfying. Buttery biscuits baked into sweet, tangy peak season tomatoes with a little calbrian chili to add the perfect kick. I've been craving these since the first time I made it and will definitely be doing it frequently while tomatoes are still around. Whether you need a great vegetarian main, or serve this with some grilled steak, I have a feeling you're gonna love it too.

Pepperonata

This is one of those recipes where summer doesn't feel complete til I've made it at least once to eat and then again to can it and save it for the winter. Sweet and spicy peppers melted down with just the right amount of tomato and herbs. Its great on just about everything you can imagine from eggs, to pasta, to sandwiches and charcuterie boards.

Seared Cabbage Wedge with Apricot Mayo

Don't let this one pass you by. I know cabbage isn't always high on everyone's list of produce, but this sweet and savory version with the perfect crunch of peanuts sprinkled on top will have you looking at cabbage in a whole new light.

Honey Roasted Carrots with n'Duja

Tender summer carrots roasted with local honey and topped with a little spicy n'duja make this a great side for any time of year. Try is vegetarian as well by skipping the n'duja and just sprinkling it with toasted sesame seed and nuts. Make a big batch as you'll likely want seconds.

Peach Cobbler with Cornmeal Biscuits

This is a classic for a reason and with so many delicious peaches floating around out there its a must have with a big scoop of vanilla ice cream at least once during the summer months. Swap out plums and change up some of the spices for more fun ways to enjoy an easy dessert.

Italian Cherry Cake with Ricotta & Olive Oil

While cherry season has come and gone, this cake can still play nicely with the rest of the stone fruit out there like peaches and plums late into the summer and early fall. This is a really simple cake to put together and is so perfect with a cup of coffee or a scoop of your favorite ice cream.
